Simply register and begin using CarbonConnect. You may choose to work independently, or with the support of an environmental consultant such as one of our certified auditors. CarbonCounted can also help you with your calculations and guide you through the process. You can contact us at any time.
Once you have calculated the CarbonCounted for your products and/or services, you may use the carbon label on your product, any consumer information about your product or service and in all of your marketing initiatives.
CarbonCounted is a quickly growing network partners that can help you reduce your carbon dioxide emissions. This works in at least four ways:
- In our CarbonConnect web application you will be able to compare registered suppliers and chose those with lower CarbonCounted values. For example, if a green electricity source supplier has registered, you will be able to easily compare and calculate the impact on your CarbonCounted if you re-source your electricity.
- In our CarbonConnect web application, you will be able to select suppliers of carbon offsets that have registered. When you purchase offsets, you can easily update your CarbonCounted calculation to your new lower value.
- Our website will be growing with partners that can help your business find efficiencies and reduce your emissions.
- Our certification process requires that your values be audited annually by a certified auditor. These auditors are environmental consultants that may be able to help you find ways to reduce your CarbonCounted.
