CarbonCounted supports the efforts of many worldwide carbon registries. As a standard-independent method and system, businesses can work independently or with consulting firms to determine the correct boundaries and standards for their carbon footprint. Once complete, businesses can then use CarbonCounted’s reporting suite to publish and submit reports to various registries. Together with related primary data and methodologies already supported (DEFRA/DECC, EIA, EPA, ISO), the integration of AMEE, and the GHG Protocol/IPCC based emission factors, CarbonCounted provides the broad coverage of greenhouse gas emissions calculations that can be used for virtually any carbon registry. CarbonCounted currently has a built-in reporting template available for reporting to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). We are also developing a template for CSA’s GHG Registries. Businesses can also export data and easily embed it into more comprehensive sustainability reports such as those required by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). Please contact us if you have any questions about using CarbonCounted to perform GHG inventories and submit reports to registries.
