1. Annual Registration:  Registered access to the CarbonConnect web application member-based and is generally $100/year.
2. Annual Verification:  It is highly recommended that businesses work with a consultant or consulting firm to verify their GHG inventories and Product Carbon Footprints.  CarbonCounted maintains a growing list of certified auditors, and we welcome any new firms interested in becoming a partner. Verification may take the form of a document review and/or an on-site audit. Costs for certification are typically $100-250 for small-medium businesses to perform a document review. Costs are $1,000-5,000 for larger corporations requiring on-site audits.

One of the most significant advantages of CarbonCounted is that it breaks-up carbon footprinting into all the building blocks of the supply base. Each portion of the supply base is only responsible for their process. Once registered and verified, each user in they system can be linked with all of their suppliers and all of their customers (there is no limit to the number of supply chain “connections”).
