The CarbonCounted Standard has been revised to Revision 1.1. This version includes updates that are based on comments received from our Call For Comment input. These updates include:
-Clarification of the term “Accuracy”. We added a line basically says that the “important” data is anything that can have a big enough impact on the CarbonCounted that it will influence any decisions/actions of the users of the final value.
-Description and example of how a retailer can use CarbonCounted.
-Additional notes on how Carbon Offsets are to be used in ElementSix.
-Improved detail on the Certification process.
-Updated all ElementSix Estimation Modules with current data, and added all references.
The CarbonCounted Standard is an open format. Please take a look at our CarbonCounted Community page to learn how to contribute to the content.
