The CarbonConnect system has been designed in such a way that it can handle multiple standards throughout the supply chain. In this way, the system can be expanded to include aspects of use and disposal emissions. Currently, most of the companies registered are chosing to follow the GHG Protocol to measure their emissions, which is not a lifecycle analysis method. However, at any time these companies may choose to add lifecycle analysis within the system.
